Ratings provide buyers of reinsurance with comfort regarding the quality of financial standing of their reinsurers.

Arig has an interactive insurer financial strength rating and long-term counterparty credit rating from Standard & Poor’s (S&P) in the ‘secure’ range, since 2004. The BBB/Stable rating was reaffirmed by S&P in July 2006 reflecting its good competitive position globally and strong position regionally, very strong capitalization and clear and logical strategy; offset by the Company’s marginal operating performance.

A.M. Best has assigned Arig a Financial Strength rating of 'B++ (Good)' with a stable outlook and a Financial Size category of 'Class IX'.
